In this retreat, you will be guided through a variety of yogic and holistic practices, including asana, pranayama, yoga nidra, meditation and journaling, designed to help you gain clarity, balance and personal insight. You will also explore Ayurveda, yoga’s sister science, and discuss the Ayurvedic principles for living in harmony and balance with the Fall season.

With over 10 years in the field of education as a public school teacher, she brings her unique blend of yoga expertise and teaching mastery to the mat. She is known for teaching well balanced classes that address the body, mind and soul, and for her special interest in yoga nidra. Michelle specializes in Hatha, Vinyasa, Prenatal and Yin yoga styles and is currently living and teaching on the island of Isla Mujeres, Mexico. She enjoys combining a vigorous asana practice with yogic philosophy and slower, more meditative fascial release. Her goal in teaching is to create balance in people’s lives by holding space and cultivating silence.
